Do's & amp; Don'ts of Scaffolding Safety Do’s • Inspect the Scaffold before use. • Training should be provided to all the workers & amp; Toolbox talks should be held at site. • PPE Should always be worn by all. • Weight capacity of the scaffold should be known and we always have to look for inspection tags. • Netting should be used to catch the falling items. • Wheels of the rolling scaffold should be locked and checked before use. • Appropriate guardrails should be provided. Don’ts • Overloading of scaffold. • Leaving some tools on the scaffold at the end of shift. • Jumping on scaffold. • Leaning outside of guardrails. • Using of visually damaged scaffold. • Climbing with machinery or tools in hands is wrong.
